Abu Garcia® Fishing Rods: Excellence Without Exception

Since 2009, when Abu Garcia® released the V-Series of Fishing Rods with their highly engineered action, power, and sensitivity, they have become synonymous with serious fishing. Today, our Fishing Rods are the height of excellence — they are lighter and stronger, they deliver more advantages to the angler, with their free-flowing lines and comfortable performance made for the long haul. To the original Vendetta® and Vengeance® lines, we’ve added the Veritas®, a Fishing Rod redesigned to be ultra-robust and responsive, and lighter and stronger than its predecessors with the sensitivity to feel the slightest bite. With every piece of equipment we produce, from our entry-level Spinning Rods to our top-of-the-line Baitcasters, our gear helps you fish to win, and there’s not an Abu® Fishing Rod for sale that’s an exception.

Pride in Performance

At Abu®, we maintain that fishing is an athletic endeavor. Just like every top athlete, our anglers have an inner desire to succeed, test their limits, and take pride in their performance. When your trophy is a bass taking to the air with its mouth open wide, you need gear that supports you from tip to handle. Ready to make light work of heavy cover? You can, with a rugged, responsive Abu® rod. Going shorter? We’ve got a stick to beat the bank. Throwing jerkbaits? Our Winch series of rods are custom designed to fit a variety of fishing techniques, and perfectly optimized for you.

Abu® Fishing Rods Fish to Win

Abu® Rods are loved by fishing heavyweights like Jordan Lee, 2020 Major League Fishing Points Champion. Jordan dragged a Berkley Powerbait Powerworm and worked a custom hari on offshore fish with a 7’6” MH Fantasista Premier Rod to prove it. The MH Fantasista features Powerlux 500, making it unbelievably strong, light, and sensitive, key for offshore fishing. Not to be outdone, Pro John Cox employed a Revo EXD 7’6” Veritas Winch Rod to launch his Berkeley Frittside to victory at Sam Rayburn Reservoir during his recent FLW Tour event. For John, the high-performance components of the Revo EXD, paired with the parabolic action of the Veritas Winch, allowed him to make extremely long casts straight to his targets. When he hooked up, the parabolic action of the rod kept the bass pinned and stopped them from tossing his bait.
